Yes, you need to register for classes at Stepping Stone Medical.
Registering in advance ensures your spot and materials for the course as we only except (8) students per class.
You can register on our website or by contacting our office. This helps us prepare and give you the best learning experience.
Registration will close 2 days prior to the class start date or when full, which ever comes first.
If the desired class is full, students have the option to join our waitlist.
For the Medical Assisting externship, it is the students responsibility to complete and pay for the required items prior to attending the site:
Background check
Drug screening
TB test
Flu shot (only need if attending externship during flu season)

We do offer weekly or biweekly payment plans. We also work with some government agencies.

As we can NOT guarantee job placement, we do have facilities that will gladly hire students once they complete and graduate from their desired program.
To be considered for employment, students will be required to complete a background check and drug screen along with any other requirements the hiring facility may require.
We are licensed through NC Community Collages as a proprietary school.
We are also an approved proctoring site for NHA (The National Healthcare Association).
We are an approved site for AHA (American Heart Association)

At Stepping Stone Medical, we require students to wear the uniform shirt to every class to maintain a professional and cohesive learning environment. Each student will be provided with one shirt free of charge on the first day of class. If a student needs an additional shirt, it can be purchased for $20. This policy ensures all students comply with our dress code, facilitating an atmosphere that reflects the high standards of our medical training programs.
Shoes should be closed toed
Scrub pants can be worn but not required
Nails should be maintained at a length that is both functional and practical for everyday activities
Hair should be kept clean, neat, and out of the face to prevent it from interfering with procedures or becoming a source of contamination
